One of the major perks of interning at Nike is that their offices are located in the Chelsea Market. For any non-New Yorker readers, Chelsea Market houses the Food Network headquarters and a plethora of great eateries.
On Tuesday my friend Sarah kindly met me at the market and we grabbed dinner at The Lobster Place. We shared a shrimp avocado roll
and then Sarah opted for the salmon cobb salad
While I selected the yellowfin tuna/chickpea salad.
The sushi was some of the tastiest I’ve had in recent memory. The shrimp was so fresh and well-prepared that a burst of juice popped in your mouth upon biting. My salad was also quite tasty, though the tuna was way overcooked for my rare-centric palate.
For dessert Sarah grabbed a chocolate chip salted peanut cookie from Jacques Torres (which I sampled and woah nelly was it good!)
While I opted for some goodies from Eleni’s Bakery. I’ve always had a slight obsession with mini muffins and had to snag both a chocolate chip
I also brought home an oreo cupcake for the Madre, which she seemed to enjoy.
I had such a lovely time with Sarah and am grateful that she trekked down from campus to meet me:)
