Last week was pretty crazy. Lots of things went bad, a few things were ok, and we changed the cat’s name.
Thursday was just a normal day at the office, complete with an amazing ER doc sticking a syringe into my almost-infected foot sans anesthetics. Fun times.
Now I know that I should use betadine and an insulin syringe to suction out purulent fluid. Don’t try this at home kids!
Post-procedure, looking and feeling remarkably improved!
This my friends, is the key to finding romantic companions through your blog. They may have foot fetishes, but that’s ok.
Back to the re-appellation of my new feline. Unfortunately, the madre was NOT down with Pustrami. Apparently she experienced food poisoning from it many years ago and forever associates the beloved deli meat with bouts of incessant nausea. Since I would rather not have my cat associated with projectile vomiting (again, another way to score men through your blog!), we decided to change his name to Pope Benedict.
Don’t let that innocent face fool you.
I left the room for two minutes and when I returned he had sent TWO gchats to my work supervisor. I kid you not.
Unfortunately Thursday night I came down with a flu-like virus involving a high fever, body aches, and sore throat. Time to break out the Jewish Penicillin!
Other eats included vitamin rich salad
The virus not only forced me to skip work Friday, but also thwarted a fun dinner date and any hopes of productivity this weekend. Sigh.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend and congrats to Sarah for winning the Silk giveaway:)

AHH I’ve heard foot shots are some of the worst! No anesthetics?! Crazy girl!
Hope this week is slower for you…
Love Pope Benedict.
