Hello Everyone!
Thank you for welcoming Pustrami into the family. Having a cat has been a great way to project my maternal instinct without actually procreating. Everytime she meows I go in and try and figure out what’s wrong, but sometimes I just feel so helpless. Should I Ferberize her? or does that only work on actual babies?
Recently I had an opportunity to sample the awesome new Silk Fruit&Protein drinks. I am a huge fan of Silk products in general, and was excited to sample this new product.
After swim practice I almost always drink a tall glass of milk or some other protein-laden beverage. I find that the extra protein helps replenish depleted glyocgen stores and assists in expedient muscle recovery. I was, therefore, pleased to discover this new beverage contains ample protein, calcium, AND vitamin D.
The Silk Fruit & Protein beverages comes in mixed berry, strawberry banana, and mango peach. I loved them all, but would probably deem the mango peach my favorite. So refreshing after a tough workout or long day at school!
Want to try Silk Fruit & Protein for yourself? Silk has generously offered one Out to Munch reader three coupons so that you can try all the flavors for free.
To enter, please leave a comment stating your favorite smoothie ingredient. Mine would probably be frozen banana! For an extra entry please like the Silk Facebook page and leave a comment letting me know you’ve done so. The winner will be emailed on Friday.
*this giveaway is open to US readers only.

My favorite smoothie ingredient is pumpkin! I add it to everything.
I really like adding kale to my smoothies. You can hardly taste it… but it’s so nutritious.
I’m curious as if these are vegan?
also I’ve liked them on facebook
Oh hello, just wanted to say that I think the new cat’s name is fabulous. Quite possibly the best cat name I have ever heard. Why couldn’t I have thought of that when I was naming my grey cat in the second grade? Poor guy ended up with “Smokey” for his 18 years of life (if only he had looked like Smokey the Bear, now that would have been a slight improvement). Oh, the creativity of a 2nd grader.
Frozen banana is absolutely the best.. I won’t make a smoothie without it! Blueberries come second.
