Yesterday evening I met the wonderful Lion (soon to be Dr. Lion!) at Parm, the more casual adjunct of famed eatery Torrisi.

The interior atmosphere recalls the 50s and 60s era with it’s homey diner vibe.

The menu offers various sandwiches/platters and numerous vegetable side dishes.

Lion selected the meatball parmesean platter

while I selected the signature roasted turkey platter.

I’m about to make a bold statement: The turkey was the best bite I’ve tasted in 2012. Perfectly succulent and seemingly injected with flavor-enhancing magic, this bird could not have tasted any better. The side salad tasted great too, with a nicely acidic vinaigrette and variety of ingredients. I only wish the salad’s portion size had been larger. I cannot wait to return to Parm and sampl
